Our Infrastructure

Our network is designed for maximum network traffic throughput and reliability. We maintain separate Internet backbone connections to diverse providers via our own private multi-gigabit Ethernet fiber ring. Each is configured for fail over in case any one of our providers is down for any length of time. These multiple connections also ensure the fastest possible routing to your clients. Our connections implement BGP routing and a great deal of content filtering technology to ensure that legitimate traffic freely passes through our network while malicious traffic is detected and blocked. Our goal is simple - provide our clients with a clean, safe and fast network.

Our network data center is located in New York City. This co-location facility offers easy access to high-speed data lines, facility-wide back-up power generation and medium physical security. Network segments for each client are partitioned from each other with Cisco routers and switches are used within each network segment to further restrict traffic to local segments. All clients co-locating in our facility are provided with a dedicated 100 Mbps or a 1000 Mbps Ethernet connection dedicated for their use.

We can also offer mirrored services to clients requiring this level of service. Our second data center located directly on our redundant fiber ring enables us to provide mirrored solutions and an overall higher level of reliability for clients requiring these services. Data Center SecurityPhysical security to the building and our co-location facility is controlled by electronic key fobs which are required to operate the elevators or enter the premises after hours. Camera surveillance is used to monitor our facilities 24x7.

Redundant Fiber Our data center is equipped with multiple fiber entry points, using two physical separate fiber paths, to ensure redundancy incase of unexpected fiber cuts. Our internal network architecture utilizes the Enterprise routing and switching engines from Juniper and Cisco. Our network is fully meshed and redundant with 6 backbone providers. Our current network consists of, UUNet (GigE), Level 3 (GigE), Time Warner (GigE), Global Crossing (GigE), Verio (GigE), and ATT (DS3).

Power Backup Our data centers on-site diesel powered generators and uninterruptible power systems provide conditioned power to ensure zero downtime. The generators are tested regularly and follow a strict maintenance schedule.
